The Sites to See: Jamaica heritage education mobile apps were created by Andrew Paul Smith to provide information about community-based natural and cultural heritages sites which showcase Jamaica’s rich, violent and colourful history, including the legacy of the original Amerindian Taino inhabitants, colonial invaders, African slaves and Maroon freedom fighters. These apps have been developed in order to educate Jamaicans of this wealth of heritage so that they could be utilized for community development.

There are currently three apps, “Sites to See: Buff Bay Valley“, “Sites to See: Old St. John“, and “Sites to See: Eastern St. Thomas“.
